August at Maylands

Have you ever repeated a familiar phrase so often that you suddenly stop and think about what it truly means? 

For the last 10 years, one of our core values at Maylands Church has been leading others to "Be people of Spirit, living in freedom and fullness." It has been incredibly refreshing to step away from rigid religious activity and enjoy the fullness of rest and renewal. 

Naturally, when we enjoy the fruit of freedom, it is easy to lose sight of the source that grows it. That is why we are launching our next series, "People of Spirit." Join us as we revisit this core value, explore what it means to be people of Spirit, and answer the question: How do we cultivate a life truly filled and led by the Holy Spirit?
